I was excited to be getting out of the massive dormitory room that I occupy. I walked down stairs to a rainy day. I was going to brave the half hour walk to the center, but as made my way a few blocks down the road, it started pouring. Needless to say I hopped on a bus. Then invested in an umbrella.
I met with my actual tutor yesterday and had an interesting time. I went to a coffee/tea/bar restaurant place ( I really don't know what it was). There I tried Cokta - their own version of Coca-Cola from when they were in a communist state. It has an herby, citrus taste to it. I really liked it and it was the only item on the menu besides the actual Coke products that were understandable to non-Slovene speakers!
When she left for work, I walked around the downtown area for a while taking a few pictures. I went to dinner, picked up some food so I would have something to eat in the dorm today, and headed back (as it was beginning to get dark).
What amazing pictures. You are so lucky to be having this experience. Enjoy every minute of it and embrace all it has to offer. You will be glad you did, especially when you're my age. I've always heard it said that experiences like this change a person and I'm sure it will only make you a more amazing girl than you already are.
