Piran/Koper,Slovenia

The boats along the Adriatic Sea at Koper, Slovenia.

Two boats in the water at sunset.

The same two boats.

More of the boats on the dock of the Adriatic at Koper, Slovenia. The color of the water is absolutely magnificent.

A vine woven to frame the entry way of a door.

Alina is one of the wider and more nicely paved street/walkways.

Is there perhaps a Toad's nearby?

One of the churches small steeples in Koper.

Prison inmates playing a melody on the streets of Koper. The carnival was in town - these people weren't near as drunk or vulgar as the ones in Ptuj!

One ocf the many massive places for a ship to be docked. (Again along the Adriatic Sea in Koper.)

The submarine parade float in the streets of Koper.

The wild west saloon float. Due to their musical selection I have now heard the Cotton-Eyed Joe in another language!

Palm trees and people along the parade route in Koper.

A gorgeous fountain in one of the little side street intersections of Koper.

Written on the back of a bus that we walked by.

A couple sail boats off of the coast of the Adriatic in Piran, Slovenia.

Aa cute little boat traveling back to the docks at Piran.

The porch of the little restarant we ate in looking out over the Adriatic Sea.

Fresh seafood served in that restaurant. It was super yummy!

A gun and anchor along the sea at Piran.

The tip of the peninsula at Piran.

Sign along the Adriatic Sea.

The small city of Piran. It was absolutely gorgeous!

The bell tower of the church on the tip of Piran's peninsula.

The rocks along the shore. The water was crystal clear and super blue.

More of the gorgeous rocks with the sun gleaming off the crystal clear, calm water.

The shorline with the church above it at Piran.

The path along the shore at Piran.

Table outside a little cafe along the Adriatic Sea.

The castle wall and tower that we walked along the side of. We were able to climb up in the tower!

Looking down on a tree from the side of the castle wall.

Alina on the super steep, strange steps on the way up one of the towers.

Looking down on Piran. The next few images capture the beauty.

The gorgeous soccer field that is on the other side of the castle wall.

A metal object cemented to the floor of the second tower that we were in.

More views of Piran follow.

Looking across at another one of the towers.

Another picture of the church from the castle wall.

More views looking down on Piran.

Barbed wire along the edge of someones property for the grape vines to entangle themselves around.

Along the upper pathway that went around the peninsula.

Looking down at the shoreline and off into the distance from this same pathway.

More of the clear water and stones of the Adriatic Sea.

One of the few signs we saw while walking the narrow pathways.

Another picture of the church in Piran.

Looking down on the harbor.

Looking up towards the castle from the church.

Church bell tower.

Castle from the church.

Looking down towards the coastline from the church.

Rowing...there was a race going on that we could here and see in the distance.

Entrance to the church.
